Sous VIDE KETO CHICKEN Recipe
This recipe was meant to be spicy! However blending all the spices together made a fantastic marinate that was so flavorful we all loved it. There is a lot of ingredients included in this dish but its is a fantastic way to make chicken thighs.
Ingredients
Skinless Chicken Thighs
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
1 fancy Pimento - Buy now
4 Garlic cloves
1 Habanero pepper (no seeds)
3 Malagueta Pepper - Buy now
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Hot Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Hungarian Paprika - Buy now
1 Lemon Juice
1 Lime Juice
4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Step 1
Start by scoring your chicken thighs, then season them well with salt, freshly ground pepper and garlic powder.
Step 2
Into a food processor add 1 fancy pimento, 4 garlic cloves, 1 habanero pepper (no seeds), 3 malagueta peppers, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp of hot chili powder, 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of Hungarian paprika, the juice of half a lemon and a lime and 4 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil.
Step 3
Blend everything well together to make your marinade. Add the chicken to a vacuum bag and add your marinade. Then vacuum seal it and let it marinate in your refrigerator overnight.
Step 4
The next day take them out and cook them sous vide @167°F / 75°C for 2 1/2 hours. Once done take them out and pat them dry.
Step 5
Pan sear the chicken to give them a nice crust, then using your smoke gun smoke the chicken for however long you like to get that nice smokey flavor. Enjoy your delicious KETO CHICKEN THIGHS!
