Garlic Butter PRIME RIB ROAST Sous Vide!
There is nothing better than the holiday season and today I am cooking this 3 bone beautiful Standing Prime Rib Roast as a holiday treat for all of us. Prime Rib is something very easy that anyone can do. All you need to know is the basics of sous vide and anyone will be able to cook this perfect holiday treat for their family.
Ingredients
Garlic Basting Sauce
1 Stick of salted butter
2 tbsp Crushed Garlic
1 tbsp Granulated Sugar
Step 1
Start by removing any excess fat from the roast, then season well with Guga's rub and finish with some salt. Then vacuum seal it and let it dry brine in your refrigerator overnight.
Step 2
The next day take it out and cook the roast @137°F / 58°C for 6 hours. While that's cooking make your basting sauce, just melt 8 tbsp of unsalted butter and add 2 tbsp of crushed garlic and 1 tbsp of granulated sugar.
Step 3
Once the roast is done take it out of the bag and discard the liquids. Then pat the roast dry and using the flamethrower sear it to give it a nice crust all around. Then baste it with your garlic butter and re-sear the roast to finish it up.
Step 4
Now all that's left is to slice it up thin and enjoy this beautiful PRIME RIB ROAST!
