Best way to cook Bison Steak Sous Vide

One of my subs asked me to try out Bison Steaks as that is mostly what he can eat so on this episode I took on the challenge. I prepare 2 Ribeye steaks and 2 New York Strip steaks. Never had Bison before and I was very motivated to see how it would taste. I am so happy I gave this a try as it was truly and awesome dish today. If you have a chance to cook Bison Steaks sous vide just go for it. You will be pleased.

Ingredients

Bison RIbeye

Salt

Pepper

Garlic Powder

Directions

Season your bison steaks with salt, freshly ground pepper and garlic powder. Make sure to get both sides including the edges.

Vacuum seal them and cook them sous vide @135°F / 57°C for 2 hours.

Once done take them out of the bag and pat them dry. Then using the flamethrower sear the steaks to give them a nice crust.

Now all thats left is to slice them all up and enjoy these incredible BISON STEAKS!
