Cheesy Potato Balls
These cheesy potato balls are the perfect side to any steak or even just a simple appetizer. Check it out!
Ingredients
Potatoes
Salt
Potato Starch
Mozzarella cheese
Eggs
Flour
Bread crumbs
Step 1
Start by peeling your potatoes, then cut them into even pieces to ensure that they cook evenly. In a pot with some boiling water add your potatoes then season with some salt. Boil them for about 10 minutes then strain the water.
Step 2
Mash your potatoes then add about 1 tbsp of potato starch. Mic well and let them cool down a bit, get some cheese and put it in the middle of some of your potatoes then make a ball with your hands.
Step 3
Once you have your potato balls, coat each one with some flour, then dip it in an egg wash and them coat them in bread crumbs.
Step 4
Fry them up in oil @350°F. let them sit in the oil for about 1 minute before moving them. Them you can move them around until they are all nice and golden brown.
Step 5
Once they're done, remove them from the oil and let them rest to strain out the excess oil and cool down a bit. Now all that's left is to serve them up with whatever sauce you like and enjoy your CHEESY POTATO BALLS!
