I made the #1 BEEF in the WORLD and it Blew my mind! Beef Rendang.
All my subscribers have been asking me to cook this for a long time. Now I understand why, this beef rendang has such a unique flavor that I 100% recommend you give it a try. It will blow your mind as much as it did mine.
Ingredients
Rendang Paste
10 dried Guajillo Chilies
1 pc star anise
2 tsp ground cinnamon
5 pc green cardamom
1 stalk lemongrass, finely chopped
2 tbsp Ginger Paste
8 Cloves of Garlic
1/2 cup of chopped shallots
Rendang Curry
1½ lb Chuck
2 cups Coconut Milk
2 tbsp Tamarind Concentrate
1 tsp Salt
¼ cup Dried Coconut
Step 1
Start by removing the seeds from your chilies and then add them to a pestle and mortar. Add 1 star anise and 1 stick of cinnamon. Grind everything up until it becomes a powder and add 5 pieces of green cardamon.

Step 2
Into a food processor add 2 tbsp of lemongrass paste, 2 tbsp of ginger paste, 8 cloves of garlic and 1/2 cup of chopped shallots and the spice that you just grinned up. Blend everything on high in the food processor until everything becomes a paste.

Step 3
In a pan toast 1/4 cup of dried coconut until they get a get a light brown color. Once done toss it into a pestle and mortar and grind it up unti lit becomes a paste.

Step 4
Into a pan add some of your chili paste along with 2 cups of coconut milk. Mix everything until it becomes a thick paste, then add 2 tbsp of tamarind concentrate and mix well.

Step 5
Once done let everything cool down to room temp and add it to a vacuum bag with your beef. Mix it well to make sure every piece of beef is coated with the paste. Cook the beef @154°F / 63°C for 24 hours.

Step 6
Once done take everything out of the bag and serve up with some rice. Enjoy your amazing BEEF RENDANG!
