Jajangmyeon Black Noodles
These black bean noodles bring back so many childhood memories. I love to this dish and I’m sure you will too. Check it out!
Ingredients
2 tbsp Black Been Paste - Buy now
1/2 lbs Bacon
1 Cup Squash
1 Cup Potato
1 tbsp Ginger Paste
1 tbsp Garlic Paste
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1/2 Cups Green Onion
1 tbsp Sugar
1 Cup Diced Onion
1 tsp MSG
1 Pack Ramen Noodles
Salt
Pepper
Step 1
Start by cooking up your chopped bacon until they are nice and crispy. Once done drain the fat but do not get rid of it. Then to the same pan add some of the bacon fat and fry up 2 tbsp of black been past for about 4 minutes.
Step 2
Once you fry that up add 1 tbsp of ginger paste and 1 tbsp of garlic paste. Mix it well and cook for another minute. Then toss in 1 cup of diced onion, 1 cup of diced squash and 1 cup of diced potatoes. Mix well and combine all the ingredients.
Step 3
Once everything is combined add 1 tbsp of sugar, your cooked bacon and 1/2 cup of diced green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then add 1 tsp of MSG. Mix everything well, then add a good amount of water and 2 tbsp of soy sauce. Mix everything up and bring it to a simmer.
Step 4
To thicken the sauce add a slurry which is 1 tbsp of corn starch and 2 tbsp of water. Add it to the sauce and let it thicken. while that thickens cook up your noodles following the instructions on the packet.
Step 5
Add the noodles to a bowl, then add some of the black sauce over top and your Jajangmyeon is done. ENJOY!
