Sous Vide Fajitas – Mexico Inspired, Flank Steak Sous Vide
Inspired by Cozumel, Mexico I decide to make a fantastic simple and easy sous vide fajita style flank steak. Sous vide is perfect for this cut as on the grill you always tend to over cook this steak. Sous vide insure you get perfection every single time.
Ingredients
Flank Steak
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Chili Powder
Smoked Paprika
Onions
Green Bell Pepper
Red Bell Pepper
Yellow Bell Pepper
Step 1
Start by seasoning your meat with, salt, freshly ground pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder and smoked paprika. Make sure to season both sides well, then add it to a vacuum bag and add the juice of 1/2 lemon.

Step 2
Cut your vegetables julienne and season them with salt, freshly ground pepper, chili powder and smoked paprika. Mix everything well and add them to a vacuum bag to cook sous vide.

Step 3
Cook both the meat and the vegetables sous vide @135°F / 57°C for 2 hours. Once done take them all out and pat the mea dry. Using the flame thrower sear the meat to give it a nice crust.

Add your vegetables and your sliced meat to a hot skillet and mix them around. Serve it up with some tortillas and your home made sous vide FAJITAS are done, ENJOY!
