Sous Vide OXTAIL Beef Stew!
After 1yr of request for this amazing dish. I was finally about to make it. This cook as a great success and I can’t believe I did not make it earlier. The flavors are so intense that is was an unforgettable experience which will not be my last!
Ingredients
Oxtail
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp minced Garlic
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp ground Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Pepper
1 cup of Carrots
1 cup of Red Bell Pepper
1 cup of Yellow Bell Pepper
1 cup of Celery
1 cup of Asparagus
1/2 cup of Onions
1/2 cup of Coconut Milk
1 can of Tomatoes
Step 1
Start by searing your oxtail in a pan with some oil to give them a nice crust. Then in the same pan add 1/2 cup of onions, followed by 1 cup of celery, 1 cup of carrots, 1 cup of red bell peppers, 1 cup of yellow bell peppers, 1 cup of asparagus, 1 tbsp of minced garlic and 1 can of tomatoes.
Step 2
Then season it with 1 tsp of freshly ground pepper, 1 tsp of smoked paprika, 1 tsp of cayenne pepper, 1 tbsp of salt and add 1/2 cup of coconut milk. Mix everything well and your sauce is done.
Step 3
Add the oxtail to a vacuum bag and remember to add the sauce to the bag as well. Cook it sous vide @185°F / 85°C for 14 hours.
Step 4
Once its done cooking all that's left is to take it out, plate everything and enjoy your delicious OXTAIL!
