Sous Vide Quail
An amazing experience to have on this episode. A fantastic location with friends and family awaits you on this video. Getting your quail cook sous vide is just a bonus on this video. I also show a new technique I have been practicing for quite some time on how to get amazing flavor to any type of protein.
Ingredients
Quail
1 1/2 cup of Yogurt
1 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Pepper
1 tbsp Turmeric
Step 1
Start by making your marinade for the quail. In a bowl add 1 1/2 cup of plain yogurt, 1 tbsp of salt, 1 tbsp of garlic powder, 1 tbsp of chili powder, 1 tsp of pepper and 1 tbsp of turmeric. Mix everything well to combine all the ingredients.
Step 2
Add your quails to a separate bowl and then pour your marinade over top of them and mix well to make sure every single piece is fully covered. Then let it marinate in your refrigerator overnight.

Step 3
Take it out the next day and vacuum seal the quail to be cooked sous vide. Cook them @149°F / 65°C for 2 hours. Once done take them out of the bag and sear them in a hot pan with some avocado oil to get a nice crust on the quail.

Step 4
Once done take them out of the bag and sear them in a hot pan with some avocado oil to get a nice crust on the quail.

Step 5
Finish them by smoking them using a smoke gun for as long as you like (the longer you smoke the more intense the flavor). Then just serve them up and enjoy your amazing QUAIL!
