Sous Vide Rack of Pork – Easy, Simple and Delicious!
Saw this rack of pork in the supermarket on sale and I jumped on it! This is no a popular cut here in South Florida, so I wanted to give it a try cooking it sous vide. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed! This thing turned out amazing.
Ingredients
Rack of Pork
Gugas Rub
BBQ Sauce
Step 1
Start by scoring your meat and then adding a good a mount of Gugas rub to both sides of the pork. Rub it in to make sure that the seasoning gets into the meat.
Step 2
Smoke the pork rack @150°f for 1 hour. Once done take it and tie the whole thing with butchers twine to keep its shape. Then vacuum seal it to finish cooking it sous vide.
Step 3
Cook the pork sous vide @150°F / 65°C for 12 hours. Once that time has passed take it out of the bag and remove all the butchers twine.
Step 4
Using the flamethrower sear the pork, then add some of your favorite BBQ sauce over top and re-sear the pork to finish it off.
Step 5
Now all that's left is to slice it all up and enjoy your amazing RACK OF PORK!
